Prerequisites?
On our courses, there are often attendees who have been practicing Scrum for some time and other attendees, who are new to Scrum. Therefore, we recommend that the course participants have familiarized themselves with the Scrum Guide, so that all attendees have the same basic knowledge of Scrum. This is important for both new and experienced Scrum practitioners to establish a shared level of fundamentals that are at the heart of the Scrum framework.
About the Credential
Students who complete the training comprised of at least 14 hours of live instruction time covering all Learning Objectives with a Scrum Trainer by Scrum Inc. are eligible to take the Registered® Scrum Master by Scrum Inc. exam to earn their credential. The Registered® Scrum Master by Scrum Inc. credential formally recognizes your knowledge of lean principles, Scrum Master techniques, patterns of high-performing teams, and how the Scrum Master role scales in an organization. The Registered® Scrum Master by Scrum Inc. credential is the only Scrum Master credential endorsed by Jeff Sutherland, co-creator of Scrum and inventor of Scrum@Scale. The Scrum Master by Scrum Inc. credential will make you stand out to employers, stakeholders, and peers. This training is for all levels of Scrum experience.

About Your Trainer
Carsten Ruseng Jakobsen is a Registered® Scrum@Scale Trainer and Registered® Scrum Trainer.
His career began at Sun Microsystems in Silicon Valley, and later he returned to Denmark and joined Systematic in 1998. Since 2006, Carsten has led change management and change initiatives across a wide range of larger organizations, helping teams and leaders adopt agile and Scrum values in practice. In addition, he has co-authored several articles with Jeff Sutherland and is a frequent speaker at international agile conferences.
Today, Carsten works primarily with large organizations to strengthen their product operating models and ways of working. He is also one of the driving forces behind the Product Leader Summit Copenhagen, an annual gathering for leaders shaping the future of product leadership and organizations.
