May 11, 2026 from 09:00–17:00 – Hadsten, Denmark – DKK 3,495 (Excl. VAT)

Solve real product leadership problems through the power and science of play.

A one-day event, facilitated by Joakim Sundén, co-creator of the Spotify Model, and Portia Tung, executive leadership coach and founder of The School of Play.

You’ll approach burning product leadership challenges from the combined perspectives of product leadership, personal leadership, and organisational transformation. Participation is limited to a maximum of 15 people.

What’s In It For Me?

You will learn how to lead with greater influence, creativity, and courage, and you’ll leave with practical ideas you can apply immediately in your own context. Play is used as a method to unlock better thinking, deeper insight, and new options for action. Especially when traditional approaches no longer move things forward! Portia will facilitate and guide the day, and help participants work with real product leadership challenges through reflection, dialogue, and designed playful exercises.

We have teamed up with play alchemist and leadership coach, Portia Tung, and product organization coach and co-creator of the Spotify-model, Joakim Sundén, to offer you an interactive and energizing event. Together, we will explore the challenges you bring as product leader from the triple perspective of product leadership, personal leadership and organisational transformation.

What you’ll take home:

  • Concrete next steps on a real product leadership challenge you bring on the day
  • New ways to unlock creativity and movement when progress feels stuck
  • Practical techniques for leading in complexity, without needing full control
  • Greater resilience and calm in the day-to-day reality of product leadership

Content

The lab is designed so that product leadership challenges are explored through two complementary perspectives: leadership and transformation.

The lab begins at 09:00, and we’ll spend the morning working with the leadership dimension in product organizations. We will look into real challenges from participants and explore leadership practices that unlock clearer thinking, deeper insights, and new options for action. After lunch, the focus shifts to the wider organisation, and we’ll translate the insights from the morning into a transformational perspective, exploring how systems, structures, and culture shape both what is possible and how product leaders can create movement in complex environments. Throughout the day, we will iterate between leadership and transformation, moving from shared challenges to practical experimentation and finally into concrete next steps.

LEADERSHIP

The first part of the lab focuses on leadership in the everyday reality of product work.

Portia Tung will explore what it means to lead with greater influence, creativity, and courage. Especially when you don’t have full control or when traditional product approaches no longer move things forward.

Through dialogue, reflection, and playful practices, participants work with real challenges from their own context and unlock clearer thinking, deeper insights, and new options for action.

EMPOWERING TEAMS IN PRACTICE

Building on the morning’s exploration of playful leadership and creative problem-solving, Joakim Sundén will shift the focus to the organisational conditions that enable teams to turn leadership intent into real impact.

Through an interactive exercise, participants will explore how four forces shape empowered teams: Clarity, Competence, Control and Context. Together we will diagnose where empowerment breaks down in real organisations and generate practical ideas for how leaders can tune these forces in their own environment to unlock engagement, innovation and faster value creation.

To close the day, we will bring leadership and transformation together as participants co-create a practical product leadership roadmap, with concrete next steps to take forward in the weeks and months ahead. Thus, you will be able to translate insights into concrete next steps to improve product leadership in your organization.
